OGL AssetService – development, caching and migration
OGL AssetService in 0.9.3.13: FSAssets, SHA-256 parallel storage, Redis, migration and pending acceptance.
Updated 2026-10-25
Development status — 25 October 2026
Not approved for production cutover. The original FSAssetConnector and FSAssets files plus SQL metadata remain authoritative. Installing or building this addon does not activate it automatically.
Present in source
- Separate .NET 8
OGLAssetConnectorcompatibility addon. - Optional RAM and hash-verified SSD read-through caches for selected
GetDatacalls, disabled by default. - Experimental Redis revisions, but no verified distributed cache coherence.
- Opt-in SHA-256 parallel store with SQLite UUID/hash index, FSAssets-first writes and guarded OGL-preferred reads.
- Offline migration/snapshot tools, metadata/hash audits and isolated MariaDB/PostgreSQL testing.
- Isolated node store and replica/directory prototypes, not an approved distributed primary.
Remaining gates
Consistent SQL/base/spool restore, complete UUID/hash parity, Firestorm/Hypergrid E2E, restart, outage, rollback and multi-process tests, benchmarks and operator approval. Do not replace LocalServiceModule on production ROBUST without acceptance.
